Morocco that was by Walter Harris(1921)

MULAI ABDUL AZIZ
MULAI ABDUL AZIZ

The Man is in the picture is Mulai (or Moulay) Abdul‑Aziz was the Sultan of Morocco from 1894 to 1908, a member of the ΚΏAlawite dynasty .

Harris, a British journalist and longtime resident of Morocco (who lived there from the late 1880s and knew the court intimately as a special correspondent for The Times, describes life in the Shereefian Sultanate during the final years of its independence before the French Protectorate.

The table of contents you provided matches the structure exactly:

I. THE ACCESSION OF MULAI ABDUL AZIZ (starts on p. 1)
II. LIFE AT THE MOORISH COURT (p. 32)
-III. THE ROAD TO RUIN (p. 65)
-IV. THE BEGINNING OF THE END (p. 91)
- V. THE LIQUIDATION OF THE SULTANATE (p. 119)
- VI. THE SULTAN AT HOME(p. 140)
-VII. THE SULTAN IN FRANCE (p. 160)
- RAISULI (p. 179)
- SAINTS, SHEREFFS, AND SINNERS  (p. 265)
-CHANGES AND CHANCES (p. 291)

The book (approximately 388 pages) is a vivid, firsthand eyewitness account of Moroccan court life, politics, tribal affairs, and the decline of the sultanate. Harris lived through the accession of Mulai Abdul Aziz, the rise of Mulai Hafid, the Anglo-French agreements, the Rif War, the Treaty of Fez (1912), and the Protectorate period.

He draws on personal experiences, including accompanying British missions, spending time at the palace in Marrakesh, and interactions with figures like Raissuli.

 Editor's note
I try to collect history of the nations who are in the World Cup 2016 .I found this book. So it is not real history but 1921 travel and description book that deals with life, rulers and people of Morocco.
There are modern books but I am curating public domain books only .
